Penehupifo Pohamba was the First Lady of Namibia from 2005 to 2015, as the wife of President Hifikepunye Pohamba. A registered nurse and midwife, she founded the Organisation for the Empowerment of Widows, Widowers and Orphans of HIV/AIDS. She died on 17 October 2026 at the age of 78.
