We report deaths factually and without sensationalism, and we treat the bereaved with compassion.

We report a cause of death only where it is confirmed and in the public interest, and we handle sensitive causes responsibly.

Families and minors

We take extra care with recently bereaved families and with reports involving children.

Images

We use images we are licensed to use, and we record the source and licence of every image we publish.

Right to be heard

Families and representatives can request corrections, amendments or removal at any time.
