Fikile Mokgohloa

Fikile Mokgohloa was a South African judge who served as Deputy Judge President of the Labour Appeal Court of South Africa, one of the highest positions in the specialist judicial hierarchy established by the post-apartheid labour law framework to resolve employment disputes and interpret the rights of workers and employers under the new constitutional order, and who died on 20 July 2026 at the age of 61, having devoted her career to the development of a branch of South African law whose significance for the daily lives of millions of workers was immediate and concrete.
