Beverly Afaglo was a celebrated Ghanaian actress, television presenter, and entrepreneur whose work spanned more than two decades in the Ghanaian film industry. Born on May 28, 1983, in the Volta Region, she studied at the University of Media Arts and Communication (UniMAC) before launching a career that made her one of Ghollywood’s most recognizable faces, with credits in over 50 film productions.
She broke into the mainstream in 2006 with The Return of Beyonce, where she played Doris, a role that established her as a sought-after performer. Subsequent credits included Crime to Christ (2007) alongside Majid Michel and Girls Connection (2008). She collaborated frequently with Venus Films and other major Ghanaian production houses throughout her career.
She is survived by her husband Eugene Baah and their children, Violyn Bless Ayebea Boadu Baah and Kora Baah. Beverly Afaglo died on May 24, 2026, in Tema, Ghana. She was 42.
