Next week, Skydance will officially merge with Paramount and Warner Bros. into a single entity, bringing the familiar name back into the spotlight. The deal is expected to close on Tuesday, uniting three giants under one banner. CEO David Ellison announced on X Friday that the new operation would be “equipping these iconic studios with a more powerful engine,” and that “together, we are Skydance: a creative-first home for bold, quality storytelling.” Skydance Media has operated since 2006, primarily producing franchise titles, action films, and streaming series.
Its track record includes hits like “G.I. Joe” and “Star Trek” spin-offs.
