Eduardo Rodríguez Rodway, the Spanish musician best known as the guitarist with the rock group Triana, died on September 26, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in Sevilla in 1945, Rodway's career spanned more than five decades. He began playing music at 16, performing at fairs and squares with other young men from Seville.
His early days included a brief stint in Paris, where he immersed himself in the city’s music scene before returning to Spain. After completing his military service in the Air Force, Rodway started his formal career on electric guitar with Flexor’s, the oldest rock group in Seville.
