Milena Zupančič was a Slovenian actress who was one of the most celebrated and distinguished performers in the history of Slovenian theatre and cinema, working across decades at the Ljubljana City Theatre and other Slovenian theatrical and film institutions to build a body of work that made her a central figure in the development of Slovenian performing arts in the post-World War II period and through the country's transition from socialist Yugoslavia to independent Slovenia. She died in 2026 at an advanced age.
