Alejandro Larrea

Alejandro Larrea was a Uruguayan professional footballer who played across the clubs of the Uruguayan Primera División during a career spanning the 1960s and 1970s, represented Uruguay in international competition, and whose life in football connected him to the deepest traditions of a country whose relationship with the sport is one of the most historically significant in the world. He died on 26 July 2026 in Montevideo at the age of 81.
