Harry Bramma, the British organist and composer, died on August 25, 2026, aged 89. Born in Shipley in 1936, Bramma was a renowned figure in the world of Anglican church music. Harry Bramma, also known as Harry Wakefield Bramma, devoted much of his work to Anglican church music.

Educated at Bradford Grammar School and Pembroke College, Bramma was part of a generation of British church musicians whose careers combined performance, composition, and teaching.
