British actress Jean Lodge, who appeared alongside Alan Ladd in the 1954 medieval adventure film The Black Knight, has passed away at the age of 99. Lodge died on Wednesday, just one day after her birthday, as announced by her granddaughter Amy Shaughnessy. Born on August 4, 1927, in Hull, Yorkshire, England, Jean Margaret Lodge began her acting career on the stage at the Windsor Repertory Company.
She made her film debut in 1949 with the movies Dick Barton Strikes Back and Dr. Morelle: The Case of the Missing Heiress.
