Simon L. Leis Jr.

Simon Leis, a longtime public official who dedicated the majority of his life to serving Hamilton County, has died Saturday at age 92. Family members of Leis confirmed the news to WLWT on Saturday morning. Leis served as Hamilton County's top law enforcement officer from 1987 to 2012. Before that, he was a common pleas judge from 1982 to 1987 and chief prosecutor from 1971 to 1982.
